A user-friendly resort
Located in the Savoie at 1,850 m in altitude, with the west face enjoying the sun until the evening, Les Menuires offers all the advantages of a well-integrated resort. The concrete buildings, which originally typified the resort, have begun to make place for a different kind of architecture: luxury chalets and residences made in stone and wood.
Accommodation is now more spacious and comfortable, and guests can enjoy a range of services and facilities such as private pools and spas which are available in a number of hotels and tourist complexes in Les Menuires.
Activities for the whole family
Les Menuires is known for its range of activities and leisure facilities: a 4,500 m2 sports centre with an aqua-spa (pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzis); the Speed Mountain toboggan run on rails which was made in 2013; the Roc’n Bike Mountain Bike trail; and entertainment and shows (concerts, children’s shows…). As night falls the resort’s restaurants come to life and the night clubs open their doors… There is a never-ending buzz to the resort. With careful consideration having been given to the ambiance and the overall holiday experience, Les Menuires is a popular holiday destination.
A child’s paradise
Though popular with all holidaymakers, Les Menuires is particularly renowned as being a family friendly resort. There are two kids clubs for children aged 18 months and over, which offer a programme of activities and themed weeks throughout the summer. With the resort ensuring that the children are well entertained, parents are guaranteed a relaxing holiday. It is therefore not surprising that Les Menuires has been given the “Famille Plus” accreditation.
