Concert: Ten Strings and a Goat Skin
This trio play Irish, Acadian and French music along with original compositions all brimming with modern rhythms. A very unique style of folk music with an infectious, festive spirit that has led the group to tour both America and Europe.
Jesse, Rowen and Caleb are part of a new generation who want to discover their francophone roots despite growing up in an Anglophone environment. These three young guys, who are just entering their twenties, have managed to build a great reputation for themselves in three years. Rave reviews praise both their own compositions and their interpretations of traditional East Canadian tunes (with Irish, Breton and Cajun roots), to which they infuse stunning modern rhythms.
