Jazz Concert: Tony Petrucciani Quartet
A quartet brimming with character, with guitarist Tony Petrucciani alongside singer Brigitte Maleh, double bass player Pascal Fancéa and drummer Lionel Grivet. A group highlighting the very best of jazz.
Tony Petrucciani is a jazz guitarist in the same vein as Tal Farlow, Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass and Jim Hall. He sets himself apart with his American influences, refrain chords and a style and sensitivity that are very much his own. He taught music to his three sons: Philippe, Louis and Michel.
At his side is Brigitte Maleh, jazz singer with bluesy accents, whose velvety voice performs all the big jazz classics. She takes you through the 50s and 60s, a time when jazz divas like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Anita O'Day got dance floors swinging both in America and across the rest of the world.
