The resort: Good to know
The Les Menuires resort is made up of 5 distinct areas (La Croisette, Les Bruyères, Preyerand, Les Fontanettes et Grand Reberty). All are connected by footpaths, free shuttles, lifts or ski-lifts in order to ease travel within the resort: remember that all of this information can be found on the resort map.
Tip: on the resort map, locate the pick up and drop off area for the keys and your accommodation area, which are not necessarily in the same place!
Free outdoor parking is available in each of the areas and near the accommodation. There are also drop-off zones in front of many of the resort’s residences to allow you to unload your luggage easily. If you arrive by another means of transport, find all of the necessary information and advice on our “For your trip” page. You can also book your shuttles from Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry and Moutiers in advance.
Once parked, you no longer need your car to get around! From 8am until 8:20pm: shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes between the bus station – Reberty 2000 and bus station – Les Campagnules – Les Bruyères. From 8:30pm until 11:30pm: a shuttle bus runs several times between the La Croisette, Reberty 2000 and Les Bruyères areas. Download the free shuttle map.
Each area also has several shops and businesses, such as: ski rental companies, mini-markets, restaurants, and counters/machines to buy your ski passes. No matter where your accommodation is located, there will be a piste or a ski-lift nearby, to allow you to get to the ski area as quickly as possible. To find all of your local shops, have a look on the directory section of our site.
For a stress-free arrival
With each snowfall, the roads are accessible but sometimes remain snow-covered. Make sure that you are well equipped for the roads: snow chains and snow tyres are recommended for safe driving. We will keep you regularly updated on the road conditions and about the traffic on the roads between Moutiers and Les Menuires, in the Savoie department and throughout France. Remember to read the safety instructions and road conditions.
Your daytime arrival
Welcome teams, recognisable by their fluorescent vests, and local police officers will be there to welcome and guide you into the resort. A luggage service is available at the Sports Centre in La Croisette (opposite the bus station) every Saturday in winter from 8am until 8pm; a very handy way for you to be able to go and explore the resort at your leisure, without worrying about your luggage, before you have access to your accommodation. Book in advance or on arrival.
Don’t worry, we’ll wait for you. The Les Menuires information point is open until 1am and even later depending on the weather conditions. Remember to locate it on the map: going up towards La Croisette, it is located 100 m to the right after the petrol station. GPS location: Latitude – 45°32′.9654″, Longitude – 6°53′.6291″.
