In a few days, you’ll be there… And you might be wondering what to do during your stay in Les Menuires? Hurtle down 160 km of slopes, gaze at the legendary peaks or enjoy the many fun areas offered by the Les Menuires/Saint Martin ski resort. Discover all of the unmissable spots and activities!
Legendary peaks such as La Masse (2840 m) or Mont de la Chambre (2850 m), are classified blue slopes; therefore allowing everyone to enjoy the beautiful views. From up there, if you look into the distance you will find a breathtaking view of some of the Alps’ most beautiful peaks, such as Mont Blanc.
Friendly advice: Start your ski morning on La Masse! It’s the first part of the resort to be bathed in sunlight, and it is the one where you will really feel like you have the slopes to yourselves.
At the top of Pointe de la Masse (take the Masse 2 gondola), an exceptional 360° view awaits you: take a look at the protected Vallon du Lou or the wild Vallée des Encombres. Then switch to the other slope to enjoy the sun all afternoon. If you still want some more sun, go to the Col de la Chambre (to get there take the Bruyères 2 gondola or the Mont de la Chambre ski-lift) or go to the summit of the 3 Marches (take the Roc 2, Becca, or Granges ski-lift): there you’ll be on the right track to get to the Trois Vallées.
Don’t forget to take breaks from this fast paced ski schedule! On the arrival side of the gondola at Roc 1, a brand new picnic area, “the Roc 1 picnic area” awaits you, with a panoramic view and plenty of room to sit and eat or to rest. Picnic tables, deckchairs and phone charging stations are available.
A picnic area at the foot of La Masse: have you planned to eat hot food at your picnic? Take a look, micro-waves and all of the necessary equipment are available for use. Games and play equipment are also available to keep the little ones entertained. See also: Walibi Gliss picnic area (take the Rocher Noir ski-lift or the Masse 1 gondola) and Pixel Area picnic area (take the Becca ski-lift or Sunny ski-lift).
