MTB Trials

This year Les Menuires confirms its reputation as a popular MTB Trials resort by hosting the French Cup and a World Cup MTB Trials event, from the 26th to 30th July 2017. A fun-filled week involving training sessions, competitions, classifications and awards. The Croisette will be host to a lively array of entertainment including sponsor tents, trials obstacles and concerts.

Explore the 3 Valleys by foot

The 3 Valley area is renowned for its ski slopes and its immense domain but have you ever considered walking it? An activity that can be enjoyed on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with the Belleville guides. Taking the telecabin followed by the chairlift in Saint Martin, you will end up at the top of the Tougnète where you can then stride out over the 3 Valleys (with the help of the ski lifts). A great walk which will go to create some unforgettable memories of your time in the 3 valleys.

Treat yourself to a panoramic view

Starting from Les Menuires it is easy to take the ‘balcon’ path that leads to Saint Martin de Belleville. And what views it offers! A terrific day’s outing, and well worth doing. New this summer, take a Savoyard break at one of the 2 restaurants: ‘La Loy’ and ‘Le Corbeley’. You’d rather picnic? You can pre-book one at the Corbeley and pick it up as you pass…

Le DIY ou Do It Yourself

This summer you can head to St Martin de Belleville to thread beads; spin wool; take photographs of the surrounding landscapes with Sébastien; learn how to make cosmetics; try some flower arranging; or why not turn your hand to some painting, wood carving or even mosaics. Saint Martin de Belleville is running courses and workshops throughout the summer – an opportunity to release your creativity! And all whilst enjoying the views of this small, mountain village.

Yoga in the mountains

Every Monday and Friday morning Anita (specialist of Hatha Yoga) teaches postures and breathing techniques which will allow you to achieve 100% relaxation. The classes are held in the Bruyères lake area – the perfect setting. Close your eyes… You are sitting on the freshly cut grass, you can hear the water running by, a marmot whistles… Get the picture? So why not come along and try out some Hatha Yoga.

The Pepe Nicolas ‘Arbé’

You really feel as though you’ve got away from it all and got back to basics at ‘Chez Pépé Nicolas’. With lots of animals and large, open spaces where children can let off steam, this is a great gourmet stop-off, where you can enjoy local products. And, new this year, take a relaxing break with Pauline who will be offering massages in the old ‘Arbé’ (small house). A unique opportunity for tired hikers or those just looking for a bit of pampering.
